Palakkadan crowd is slowly gathering on the premises to get inside the exhibition.
Baahubali movie characters & palatial sets on the hall.Though the sets were good. The actors who played these characters don't had any resemblance to the original ones. They spoiled the beauty and royal looks of Ramya Krishnan, Tamannah Bhatia, Anushka Shetty, Prabhas, Nazar, Rana Dhagupathi & Sathyaraj.
What a pity. If Rajamouli see this he would kill the man who made these sculptures.

Thanks Anna, Illam and Mana are used for Namboothiri houses.Even Thiyyas have Illams in North Kerala. (North Of Vadakara upto Mangalore) Kovilakam are for Samantha Kshatriyas who belong to Royal lineage. Tharavads are for those Nairs who have relations with Royal clans.For Tamil Brahmins Iyers and Iyengars we all have Agraharams. Each Agraharam has a Madom which controls and supervises, finances Yagas, Homas, Festivals and holds more land and closely associated with Tamil & Malayali Royal dynasties and British Rulers for the welfare of our family and people. Madom is the correct word (Press Madom) not Illam. Thanks for the suggestions. GouriSankar.K

ReplyDeleteDear Shankar , its very nice to see your ancestral property at ellapully, palakad.This is ram from coimbatore , I belong to the same sasthry family , the yellow house seen in the photo belongs to my grand father EP Ganapathy iyer alias Rasappan, till 1968. Our ancestors sold that property in 1968 to Mr Chuppamani, next door.Iam very proud to be a part of Sasthry family.I would like to stay connected with the family.My email id is ramcsllb@gmail.com.
